Stating that he started writing poetry in middle school, *Alkuş said that he has always been excited by books since those days. Applause, who shared that the poems read enthusiastically at the ceremonies touched his life and were the most beautiful memories he remembered, “All these beautiful feelings actually aroused vitality in me; it made me discover something in me and pushed me to write. I continued to ink intermittently in post-secondary high school as well. I’ve always had the urge to put words on paper. As the process continued like this, I noticed that the number of my poems in college increased quite a lot. I sent poems to some magazines, anthologies. All these stages brought me closer to my book” said.
“It’s always been my dream to have a book”
Adding that owning a book was the dream of his childhood and youth *Alkuş, “It always seemed like a very distant goal. However, after I decided to do this in a serious way, I went on the path of creating and storing poems from a slightly more professional window. I have now directed myself not only to confront my feelings and words, but also to the effort of becoming a poet and writer in which all my works will be published. Of course, I still can’t put these adjectives on myself. It’s not so easy to say that it happened at work.” he used his statements.

Stating that stress intensifies his feelings with his busy professional life, Alkuş said that writing poetry during the university process, taking the pen in his hand and putting the words in front of him relaxes his soul. *Alkuş for saying that you still keep it up, “My profession is so valuable that we witness all the physical and psychological states of human existence, which allows us to get to know ourselves and humanity better. Especially in the seminars I go to, people are surprised when they find out that I am a doctor. Naturally, they wonder how. As I answered them, although it is sometimes difficult to establish this balance, the balance certainly works very well. For example, I have also caught inspiration in the ambulance. In fact, it’s all about looking completely with a receptive eye, being able to keep the poet’s point of view alive, without breaking away from functionality. Of course, in some cases, it also happens that I can’t give that inspiration the opportunity, I don’t give it.” she spoke.
