Leave behind whatever keeps you from being who you are!
I don’t know. Perhaps, most of the time, you don’t even know what truly makes you you. Perhaps you never will, not entirely. And so, you may not always understand what takes you away from yourself and what brings you closer to who you are.
This is where your greatest responsibility lies: to know yourself.
And you will never fit into just one mold. You will have a thousand different sides, a thousand different ways of being, and every single one of them will be you.
For instance, you may find peace in getting soaked in the rain, only to find yourself savoring the warmth of the sun the very next moment. You may choose to live in a big city, surrounded by crowds, and then suddenly find yourself dreaming of a tiny, quiet town. Perhaps one day, you will even make that dream your reality.
The shores and the seas may feel like home to you, yet one day, you may find yourself wandering through the mountains. The open fields and vast plains may become your home, too.
One day, you may enjoy one kind of food, and the next, find yourself craving something entirely different. You may stand firmly behind a belief, only to pause one day and say, “Perhaps I no longer see things that way.”
One day, you may feel good, and another day, you may feel anything but. One day, you may be walking down a certain path, only to find yourself on an entirely different one the next.
And all of these versions of you will still be you. 🤍
Because the only things that will remain constant are your heart and your ever-growing soul, dear reader.
That is why you must never, ever stop tending to your heart and soul. Never stop nurturing the two things that lie at the very core of who you are. So that, through all the changes, you never lose yourself.
Wherever you go, whatever paths you take, let your heart and soul guide you. Let them lead the way.
Love them. 🤍
Protect them. 🤍
Never let them be tainted.
And learn to walk away from anything that touches your heart and soul in ways that diminish them, or that tries to take precedence over them.
With love,
